About the Author:
Alan Trees began prospecting for gold when he was about 17 years old. It was a hobby of his fathers so he was exposed to mining at an early age. With several years experience under his belt and knowledge gained from other prospectors, he gained the knowledge of knowing where to find gold and how to get it. Alan has done much traveling for his love of prospecting - even going as far as the Golden Triangle of Australia, to Mexico, and South Central America. In 1978 Alan decided that there had to be a better way of reaping more of the precious metal and he began developing his own line of mining equipment. He soon had to give up his career as an electrician and go into the manufacturing of mining equipment and full time prospecting. Alan has written several articles for major prospecting magazines and was the major contributor to several publications. In this book Alan has shared many trade secrets as well as old ideas that have been around for centuries.
