The small, shiny dried black bean or "turtle bean" is very nutritious and rich in antioxidants. Case of 6 #10 Cans holding approximately 6 pounds/12 cups of black beans in each #10 can. Be prepared and have your food storage on hand! Each #10 can is sealed with an oxygen absorber. If stored in a cool, dry place, beans should last 10+ years. In an emergency situation, boiling the beans in water for 20 minutes will kill any bacteria and will still give you some nutrition. |
